Lassen Intervention

Covid-19 Response Strategy

Lassen Intervention piloted Zoom classes in response to the emerging epidemic from April 2020- June 2020, in collaboration with the requirements of Lassen County Court and Lassen County Public Health Department. Lassen Intervention is prepared to deliver current services, with both in-person and virtual options. We recognize and are incorporating the differences that technological delivery has on our participants.

Lassen Intervention implemented a COVID-19 Prevention Protocol, in line with the Lassen County Health Department and State of California mandates (guidelines available at Lassen Cares). To limit the transmission of COVID-19:

1)     If any client or staff are experiencing any of the currently identified COVID-19 symptoms, they must refrain from entering the facility and notify us electronically.

2)     Clients and staff are requested to wear face masks, with the understanding that at any time, this can increase to a requirement.

3)     There are face masks available to anyone upon entry into the office.

4)     The number of total occupants in the office does not exceed ten people (represents reduction).

5)     The office will not host any occupants beyond the exact class time length of two hours.

6)     Social distancing is required, with group chairs arranged with a minimum of six feet distance. We further ask that clients and staff refrain from any casual greeting/touch practice.

7)     If clients/staff do happen to contact one another, we ask that participants avail themselves of the available hand sanitizer.

8)     The group room and bathroom facilities are sanitized before and after each group. Further, hand sanitizer is located throughout the office.

9)     If there is an identified exposure or case, Lassen Intervention will immediately return to utilizing the Zoom platform to deliver all educational classes for a minimum of two weeks, pending further reassessment.
